Coaching and Mentoring are terms that are used almost synonymously in every day useage,  yet there are significant differences between the two and the situations in which they should be used.

While significant differences exist between coaching and mentoring, the two can be highly complimentary in certain situations and are often used in conjunction to achieve a particular outcome.

This session covers the intrinsic differences, together with the skill sets required to deliver each effectively.  We will examine the scenarios under which a leader would choose one over the other, as well as when a leader might hand the decision to mentor or coach to the team and why.
